A goal I set for myself this fall was to harvest my first Whitetail Deer. Up until this hunt my closest experience to big game was my Turkey hunt this spring. I wasn’t going to be picky about my first buck…if it was a legal animal I was going to shoot it. The opportunity presented itself last week in North West Ontario… and of course the entire journey of acquiring my first rifle, sighting it in, and pulling the trigger was documented.
